Moonee Valley City
Project 1

This Edwardian-style house underwent a transformation by Essendon-based architects David and Anne Crampton of Crampton D + A Architecture + Design. They added a new family bathroom, laundry, study, and northeast-facing living room at the rear, as well as a new ensuite off the master bedroom.

Large aluminium-framed double-glazed sliding doors in the living room open to the north-facing outdoor living space with a pergola and contemporary BBQ bench for warmer months. In winter, the living room features a cosy window seat overlooking the garden and a three-sided cantilever fireplace. A central study, separated from the living room by a polished hardwood open shelving unit, adds functionality. The new light-filled ensuite boasts a walk-in shower and contemporary bath.
