Dales Creek

A showcase of architectural clarity and craftsmanship, this Dales Creek project was designed in collaboration with Brad Hooper Architects and brought to life by the BuildTrend team. Set among native bushland, the home balances refined, minimalist lines with warm material choices and practical functionality.

From the exterior cladding in durable Colorbond to the use of reclaimed red brickwork internally, every element of this four-bedroom, two-bathroom residence reflects a considered and sustainable approach to construction. A standout feature is the centrally positioned French Philippe Cheminees fireplace, set into a concrete base and complemented by exposed brick and polished concrete flooring throughout the living spaces.

Built for comfort and longevity, the home achieves a 6-star energy rating with full double glazing, extensive insulation, zoned heating and cooling, and energy-efficient heat pumps. The alfresco and landscape works were designed to blend the home into its environment, featuring native planting, rockwork, and reclaimed materials across the outdoor spaces.
Internally, clean transitions between spaces are achieved with custom joinery, flush thresholds, and clever split-level zoning between bedrooms and shared living areas. Bathrooms and wet areas continue the natural material palette, incorporating large-format tiles, brass fittings, and custom timber cabinetry.
